By using DarkMatterDB you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy policy, and the affiliate disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What DarkMatterDB is

DarkMatterDB is an Onitsoga Labs public directory of Matter hardware from CSA’s public list. Certification status is labeled.

We are not the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). We are not a certification body. We do not certify products, issue CSA IDs, or speak for CSA, Amazon, or device makers. Listing on DarkMatterDB does not mean CSA endorsement.

Sources of facts and photos

Listing identity and certification facts come from CSA’s public Matter list. Photos, when present, come from the maker’s site or from Amazon when a buy link is shown. We do not make up certification IDs, Amazon product IDs, prices, or network types. An empty field is left out, not guessed.

Intellectual property

Matter, CSA, and related marks belong to the Connectivity Standards Alliance and its licensors. Amazon and related marks belong to Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Manufacturer names, logos, and product photos remain those parties’ property. We display CSA listing facts and, when present, maker or Amazon images for this directory. We do not claim those marks or photos as ours.

Site copy, layout, and compilation of the directory are Onitsoga Labs. You may not copy the site as a competing directory, scrape it in a way that impairs the service, or imply CSA, Amazon, or Onitsoga Labs sponsorship.

Acceptable use

Use the site for lawful personal or editorial reference. Do not attack, overload, or probe the service; do not impersonate CSA, Amazon, a manufacturer, or Onitsoga Labs; and do not use listings to call a product certified when CSA has not recorded it as certified.

Listings can be wrong, incomplete, or stale. CSA and Amazon data change. Prices and stock on Amazon change without notice. This catalog is not professional, legal, safety, or purchasing advice. You are responsible for checking CSA, the manufacturer, and the retailer before you buy or install anything.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onitsoga Labs and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or devices, arising from your use of the site, inability to use the site, or reliance on a listing, buy link, price, or certification label, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, Onitsoga Labs’ total liability for claims arising from the site is limited to one U.S. dollar (US$1.00) or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state or territory in which Onitsoga Labs principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
